''Grammia allectans'' is a moth of the Arctiidae family. It was described by Ferguson in 1985. It is found in Mexico (Durango and Sonora)〔, 1985: Contributions toward reclassification of the world genera of the tribe Arctiini, Part 1 – Introduction and a revision of the ''Neoarctia-Grammia'' group (Lepidoptera: Arctiidae; Arctiinae). ''Entomography. An Annual Review for Biosystematics'' 3: 181-275, Sacramento, California.〕 and the Chiricahua Mountains of southern Arizona.〔(mothphotographersgroup )〕 The habitat consists of open montane pine forests. The length of the forewings is about 14 mm. The ground colour of the forewings is dark brown, with buff to yellowish bands. The hindwings are orange-red with a dark brown pattern.
